Bloc Tactical Warranty Policy

Last Updated: 6 July 2026

1. Our Commitment

At Bloc Tactical, we take pride in the quality, performance and reliability of our products. Every genuine Bloc Tactical product is designed and manufactured to meet demanding performance standards and undergoes quality inspections before leaving our facility.

This Warranty Policy explains what is covered by our warranty, what is not covered, and how to make a warranty claim.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable.

2. Warranty Period

Bloc Tactical warrants that all genuine Bloc Tactical products purchased from us or an authorised retailer will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Proof of purchase must be provided for all warranty claims.

3. What Our Warranty Covers

If, during the warranty period, your product develops a manufacturing defect, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the product where practical;
  • Replace the defective product with the same model;
  • Replace the product with an equivalent model where the original is no longer available; or
  • Issue a refund where repair or replacement is not appropriate.

All warranty decisions are made following inspection by Bloc Tactical.

4. What Is Covered

Examples of manufacturing defects include:

  • Defects in frame materials.
  • Manufacturing faults in hinges or temples.
  • Manufacturing defects affecting lens retention.
  • Faults resulting from errors during manufacture.
  • Defects in workmanship that affect the intended performance of the product.

5. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal use, accidental damage or misuse.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Scratched lenses.
  • Cosmetic marks or wear.
  • Surface scuffs from normal handling.
  • Damage caused by dropping the product.
  • Damage caused by crushing, bending or excessive force.
  • Damage resulting from improper storage.
  • Damage caused by exposure to excessive heat.
  • Damage caused by chemicals, solvents, fuels, paints or cleaning agents.
  • Damage caused by ammonia-based cleaners, alcohol-based cleaners or abrasive products.
  • Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications.
  • Normal ageing of components.
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow the Care & Maintenance Guide.
  • Damage caused by incorrect fitting or improper adjustment.
  • Products that have been deliberately altered or modified.

6. Ballistic & Protective Eyewear

Bloc Tactical eyewear is independently certified to the standards specified for each individual product.

Protective eyewear significantly reduces the risk of eye injury but cannot eliminate all risk.

While our eyewear is designed to withstand impacts within the limits of its certified standards, no protective eyewear can guarantee protection against every possible impact, projectile or hazard.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from normal operational impacts.
  • Cosmetic marking following projectile impacts.
  • Wear associated with regular training or operational use.
  • Damage resulting from impacts exceeding the product's certified performance limits.
  • Damage resulting from misuse or use outside the intended application.

The fact that a lens becomes scratched, marked or damaged after protecting the wearer from an impact does not necessarily indicate a manufacturing defect.

7. Anti-Fog & Anti-Scratch Coatings

Bloc Tactical lenses incorporate advanced lens treatments to improve performance.

These coatings are designed to improve resistance to fogging and surface wear; however:

  • Anti-fog does not mean fog-proof under every environmental condition.
  • Anti-scratch does not mean scratch-proof.
  • Surface coatings may gradually wear over time through normal use.

Damage caused by:

  • abrasive cloths;
  • paper towels;
  • chemical cleaners;
  • alcohol-based products;
  • ammonia-based cleaners;
  • anti-fog sprays not approved by Bloc Tactical;
  • polishing compounds;

is not covered under this warranty.

8. Prescription Inserts

Prescription inserts supplied by Bloc Tactical are bespoke products manufactured to the customer's prescription.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

The warranty does not cover:

  • incorrect prescriptions supplied by the customer or optician;
  • changes to the user's eyesight;
  • accidental damage;
  • scratched prescription lenses;
  • adaptation to new prescriptions.

9. Exclusions

This warranty does not apply where:

  • proof of purchase cannot be provided;
  • the product was not purchased from Bloc Tactical or an authorised retailer;
  • the product is counterfeit;
  • serial markings have been removed or altered (where applicable);
  • damage has resulted from misuse or negligence;
  • the product has been modified;
  • the product has been repaired by an unauthorised person.

11. Inspection Process

All warranty claims are individually assessed.

Where a product is returned for inspection, our technicians will determine whether the issue is:

  • a manufacturing defect;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • accidental damage;
  • misuse; or
  • damage outside the scope of this warranty.

Our decision will be based on the condition of the returned product together with any supporting information provided.

12. Shipping Costs

If a warranty claim is accepted, Bloc Tactical will reimburse or cover reasonable return postage costs where required.

If inspection determines that the product is not covered under warranty, return postage may be chargeable.

International customers are responsible for any customs charges, duties or taxes associated with returning products unless otherwise agreed.

13. Genuine Bloc Tactical Products

This warranty applies only to genuine Bloc Tactical products.

Products purchased through unauthorised sellers, counterfeit products or modified products are not covered.

To ensure you receive genuine certified protective eyewear, we recommend purchasing directly from Bloc Tactical or one of our authorised retailers.

14. Limitation of Warranty

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

Except where prohibited by law, it does not cover any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of the product.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
